Heath Bar the Dog needs a home
Heath Bar -- Does anyone in the Athens area recognize this precious boy. He was picked up after following an emergency service vehicle, and brought to the shelter for his own safety and well-being. We call him Heath Bar, for our records, but surely he has a name and an owner who loves him and would love to have him back. He has a very sore right hip, and even though he is in some pain and has found himself in the confusing and frightening environment of the shelter, he has a wonderful attitude. He seems very trusting, very affectionate, and is eager to greet everyone with a happy face and a wagging tail. Heath Bar is a sweet, handsome, lovable big sweetie. Hopefully, his owner will reclaim him, but if he is not reclaimed, he will be in need of a new home. This boy would make a fantastic addition to any home.
